Things You Might Not Know About Me

Dr. Favero at clinic, things about me

Chiropractic is my passion, and I love doing it. What you might not know is that I was first planning to be a dentist like my father, Jeffrey K. Favero. He has now sold his dental practice and does photography – so does that mean I like photography too? Yes, but I am colorblind so have my own little weird version of doing photography, and it is nothing as talented and beautiful as my Dad’s (see his gorgeous images here: jeffreyfavero.com).

While assisting at Dad’s dental office, and sucking up the spit and getting blood splashed on my shirt, I decided it wasn’t for me. I always wanted to care for all ages and be in the health field somehow, so I started studying all the different types of healthcare. I became drawn to Eastern medicine and started reading everything I could on chiropractic, acupuncture, and how the whole body needs attention and care.

The human body is fascinating, and I have never stopped being amazed at how powerful it is to heal itself. Through chiropractic I can find problems in the structure and function of the body and make small changes to help the body heal properly.

After my 10 years of school (yes, I took 6 years at Weber State to get my Bachelors while I was working full time), I treated patients at a couple clinics in Salt Lake and then ventured off to Wyoming for about 3 years to work my chiropractic magic up there. In 2015 I opened my clinic in North Ogden where you can find me now – Monday through Friday, and on weekends or holidays for emergencies!
