The Power of a Chiropractic Adjustment

Chiropractic adjustments can be a powerful method of restoring your body’s well-being. Most chiropractic patients leave our clinic feeling like, “Wow, that was fantastic!” If that is you, then share your experience with others so they can also have that great feeling! In some cases, we’re treating significant injuries that will take time to heal. Yet even with these conditions it is common to feel increasing relief with each treatment you receive at Favero Chiropractic. Let me tell you why.

Chiropractic addresses the cause of the problem so we can get rid of those annoying things called symptoms. We do this by providing a fantastic adjustment to the area needing help. An adjustment is when a chiropractor helps things to move like they’re supposed to. Sometimes it’s focused on a joint and other times it is more for a muscle or nerve problem. That adjustment is calculated to bring about a specific result. The extensive training a chiropractor receives qualifies them to diagnose your conditions and create a plan to resolve them. They make their “best educated guess” and then follow through with that treatment plan – while remaining flexible to any curve balls along the way that create a need to tweak the plan or change course altogether.

Common side effects are, “Wow, that was fantastic!” But seriously, it is common to have some soreness after the first adjustment. It could come that night or the next morning, sometimes accompanied by an increase in symptoms like headaches or muscle pain. Then that effect lessens each time you come, because it wasn’t as much of a shock to the system and your body is beginning to move and function better already!

As a chiropractor who cares for your well-being, my most exciting part of the day is hearing people share how they are getting better. I realized that early on in my career when a patient in Wyoming shared their experience and thanked me for the treatment I provided. It made me decide I would keep doing everything I could to make sure my patients get the best care possible and have the greatest likelihood of improving.
