Another great reason to visit our clinic is we don’t play the insurance game. It just doesn’t work that well with chiropractic. We’d have to shorten your appointments in order to see a lot more patients in a lot less time, and the quality of your care could be compromised. Dr. Favero focuses on your achieving and maintaining wellness. This is not what insurance was created for. Insurance is for the big, bad, ugly things that would require medical bills beyond your ability to pay on your own. For this reason, insurance companies will often allow a certain number of appointments for a certain severity of injury, but then after that – your benefits end, and you pay out of pocket. Also, most of the time insurance benefits will only kick in after your deductible is met. That means you pay full price (usually much higher than a cash price) until you reach your deductible. Then your insurance will usually cover 80% of your costs or have you pay a set copay amount.
